Replying, especially via WebMention is brill. Replying shows that you appricate the effort made to start the conversation.

Short answer: No.
Slightly longer answer: No, not really.
Longest answer: Blogging never died; it has died back. That’s because we were all convinced to move into the walled garden of social media. That didn’t kill blogging. There are loads of blogs out there. Good blogs are harder to find. You have to look a little harder, is all.
My editing process is (1) open the document, (2) stare at it like a confused labrador, (3) make an inconsequential change, (4) quit in confusion; (5) cry a little.
My blogging focus is super clear. I love dad jokes.
I maintain Punning isBrill.com – puns and dad jokes are my only topics. I think my only reader is Matt.

I count as a blogger, right? Replying sometimes on a group blog is still blogging? I’m going to say yes. In which case my primary blogging focus is replies to interesting questions (and my cats).
